I remember the day Carmel and David came to meet Mad Max. They fell in love with him immediately but Carmel was upset because he'd pulled too hard for her to walk him. Ted hadn't realised I walked him with a Halti. I'd fallen in love with him myself but you can't keep every rescue so it was only right for me to put it on. Carmel wasn't convinced it would help but he was one of those dogs that was calm as a lamb with it on. Ive never seen anyone look so happy as she did when they got back. Max was happy too
